Triangle Types

By Side

Acute – all angles less than 90°

Scalene – all three sides are different

Right – has a 90° angle

Isosceles – at least two sides are the same

Obtuse – has an angle greater than 90°

Equilateral – all three sides are equal



 


Remember any triangle can be categorized by both their sides and their
angles.
